Our ever popular Playbus makes the best of socialising and role-play bus driving. The internal seating provides somewhere for children to sit and chat, while the slide and fireman’s pole will use up their energy whilst they dream up ways to be included on the bus journey, where will it go this time? Most of our vehicle play items are ‘place and play’ they are ready to deliver and place directly onto your current surface, or manufactured with a frame to bury easily into a loose fill surface. The play bus with it’s seating, fireman’s pole and stainless steel slide requires installation by our dedicated team.

What is the the playbus made out of?

Panelled with minimum 15mm thick HDPE Panels – guaranteeing you no painting, no splintering, no cracking. Simply wash with warm soapy water and wipe over when needed.

FSC certified high grade European red wood base & frame that has received a Gold Award winning 30 year treatment.

Can I choose the colours?

Yes you can. We have a great selection of colours to choose from.

Over the years customers have chosen colours to suit their favourite colours, but as you can imagine, red comes out on top every time.

Can I personalise my bus?

Yes. We can add signs to show the route on the front and signs for the rear, plus a ‘real’ style number plate.

All we need is a high resolution image (Vector image) of your branding or chosen image and we can do the rest.

What does FSC certified timber mean?

Forest Stewardship Council. The forests have to prove that they are managed in an environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable manner and we’re proud to choose this long lasting timber.

What fixings do you use?

Stainless Steel Fixings throughout, means no rust.

Do I need a safety surface?

Technically, all our vehicles can be placed on well kept turf without a safety surface, however, once that turf is worn, it is no longer a sufficient safety surface. That is why we recommend fitting a safety surface from the beginning as it saves you money and time by adding it at a later date. The playbus is different as it has a slide and firemans pole plus seating element and this can wear turf very quickly, we strongly recommend a surface for this item.

Yes, of course you can. If you make a dream plan of how you want your play area laid out in the future, you can add equipment as & when it suits you and your budgets. Our bus is very happy on it’s own or within a larger play scheme.
