The Wellington Ship

This bespoke boat was commissioned by our lovely friends at Wellington Park

This park has a huge range of play and family ideas and the boat we installed needed to have (at their request) ‘a bit of everything’. Based loosely on our boat TheTrevalgan, it is one of our show stopper creations at a whopping 17m long. This is one of the largest in our boat play range an boasts a gigantic list of included activities, plus personalisation to make it yours, from bespoke flags, your chosen ships name and many additional features.

What does FSC certified timber mean?

Forest Stewardship Council. The forests have to prove that they are managed in an environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable manner and we’re proud to choose this long lasting timber.

What fixings do you use?

Stainless Steel Fixings throughout, means no rust even in the harshest of weather conditions.

Do I need a safety surface?

Technically, all our equipment can be placed on well kept turf without a safety surface, however, once that turf is worn, it is no longer a sufficient safety surface and can be time consuming and super expensive to fix if you need to move the play item. That is why we recommend fitting a safety surface from the beginning, as it saves you money and time by adding it later. There are a number of options from a larger wet pour surface to bark, sand and simple and easy grass matting, we can advise you on this, just ask us.

Could I add more play items at a later date?

Yes, of course you can. If you make a dream plan of how you want your play area laid out in the future, you can add equipment as and when it suits you and your budgets.
